Maastricht University is engaged in a long-term research collaboration with the regional Emergency Dispatch Centre in Oldenburg, Germany (GOL) on Innovation in EMS dispatch and resource allocation.
This collaboration also includes the regional health authorities in 4 counties and two larger municipalities, the statutory health insurances and further health partners in a catchment area of a population of 800.000 and a mix of urban and rural settings.
